Upcoming Meeting Reminder and Call for Quilts!

Dear Modern Quilters,

This is a reminder to bring one of your modern quilts to display at the Upland Library for Women’s History Month. They will be hanging on banisters over a second story. If you’re wondering what kind of modern quilt to submit, bold quilts will be best. Our own Cathleen Wallace will be speaking on March 14th at 6:00 PM about women who have made quilting their profession in her talk called, “Nevertheless She Persisted.”

Also our next meeting this Saturday will be from 1:00-3:00 at the Ontario Museum of History and Art. Lynn Hanna will be presenting her review of QuiltCon West 2018. For more information about the meeting check out the calendar and home page of our website.  You’ll find a map/directions and more information there.

See you Saturday,
Laura Greene
